March 2024. A panel discussion with Executive Director of the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project Albert Fox Cahn, Assistant Public Defender Marc Canellas, and Supervising Attorney of Legal Aid Society’s Digital Forensics Unit Jerome D. Greco.

Deceptive Patterns Online
October 2023. A discussion with Harry Brignull, a leading authority on deceptive design patterns (manipulative digital marketing practices) who coined the original term in 2010 and runs the website deceptive.design. He recently published "Deceptive Patterns" which was just acquired by NYU's library and can be purchased online.
In addition to speaking and writing about the topic, he also works as an expert witness on legal cases, such as Nichols v. Noom Inc. and Arena v. Intuit Inc.

Primer on AI
November 2019. Presented an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) and its effects on civil rights, civil liberties, and criminal justice at both a student-only lunch and at a conference hosted by the NYU Center on Civil Justice.
